For the first time, the Habitat Agency is amending the Habitat Plan to add protection and conservation for more special status wildlife species. The amendment will also expand the Habitat Plan boundary within Santa Clara County, expand the list of covered projects and improve efficiency of implementation. This is an opportunity to make a great conservation plan even better. A first draft of the amended Habitat Plan is now available for public review and comment.
